The Festival of Garden Literature

Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July

The Garden Museum presents this unique, intimate and immersive annual festival. We’re delighted to open our doors this summer to hold this highly recommended event, hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch.

‘Wherever this blissful young festival roams in future, it’s worth downing tools to follow it’
Daily Telegraph.

As one of the guests that attend each day, your single ticket will give you access to all talks, events and performances. Leaving you to wander, discover, and learn about why we garden.

Festival-goers can also enjoy tours of Boughton’s beautiful Gardens by the House’s head gardener, Bernard Opara, plus a preview of Boughton’s special summer exhibition.

Plus explore and enjoy the stunning surroundings of Boughton House and the Estate.

The writers will talk about gardens, and writing on gardens, but also where gardens meet memoir, botany, history, politics, landscape, environment, art, and music.

Don’t miss this exclusive event. The draft programme has been announced and tickets are now available. Further information is available here.

As this is an event run by the Garden’s Museum, please make all enquiries and bookings through them. Either through their website, email, or call 0207 401 8865.
