NEW: Boughton House in Paperback
Boughton’s new paperback book, Boughton: The House, its People and its Collections, is now available to buy. Written by Richard, Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry, the new paperback sets the scene with a history of his ancestors, the Montagu’s of Boughton, who acquired the manor in Northamptonshire in the reign of Henry VII. The book showcases Boughton’s celebrated art collection and includes some wonderful photographs from the Buccleuch archives.
The Coach House
In the 18th Century Coach House you will find the distinctive black and gold Buccleuch State Coach, with a rich history. The Coach House will also bring out your nostalgic side with displays of old fire fighting equipment.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we also have a second-hand bookshop in the converted stables so you can find your next good read.
