Kathryn Brown

My background is in Fashion & Design, I graduated from University for the Creative Arts (KIDA) in the 1990’s. Having worked in various clothing manufactures for many years which I loved, I became a full time Mum for my three daughters, who have now flown the nest. This has given me the time and opportunity to rediscover my artistic side.

My work is in mostly watercolour and coloured pencils, although I do like to embroider and sew however, painting is my thing.

I do hope you enjoy my work, I am still learning and finding methods and effects that I love.

Sarah Showers

Sarah is a textile and mixed media artist whose work is in response to a sense of place. Colour and shape are the key initiators. She enjoys using pre used fabrics from unpicked garments which are then painted to create her colour palate.

In her exhibition at Boughton House Sarah has taken the English garden as her theme. Influenced by the fabulous gardens. Her work will also be hung at Lamport Hall in September. She exhibits locally, nationally and internationally.

Sophia Wang

Sophia is a multidisciplinary artist and printmaker whose practice explores memory, longing and the emotions that shape our inner lives. Working primarily with photogravure, drawing and experimental processes, she creates quiet, contemplative works that explore the relationship between inner experience and the physical world. Her practice is shaped by slow, tactile processes, allowing the qualities of ink, paper and plate to become part of the work’s meaning.

Claire Pascall

An artist and illustrator, my paintings are mixed media and most often a celebration of nature. I work from my home studio in Ringstead Northants. Nature has always been my greatest love as an artist. I am at my happiest in the countryside. Woods, hills, streams, open fields mountains and sea are all a constant source of inspiration.

I like to experiment with different materials on a variety of surfaces. Although I consider myself a colourist, I like to challenge myself to try to create depth and atmosphere in a painting without colour or by having sections of a painting in monochrome.

As well as being a painter I also write and illustrate stories and rhymes for children. I currently have a book called ‘Meet Clarke’ available on Amazon.

I take commissions and to date have completed specific landscapes, pet portraits, houses and some more illustrative pieces, which make for original and interesting gifts. Please contact me for more information.

Tomasz Milutel

My story begins in Łódź, Poland, where I was born in 1983 and where my earliest memories involve watching my father paint. He was an oil painter, and even though he passed away when I was young, the sight of his canvases taking shape stayed with me and guided me into the world of art. Today, I continue that family tradition through classical painting.

I am an independent artist based in Northampton, UK, specialising in expressive, traditional watercolour art.
