On Monday, 16th September, Boughton House had the honour of hosting a significant occasion as we welcomed Amy Crawfurd JP, High Sheriff of Northamptonshire. The event marked the presentation of two prestigious Court Awards, granted under Section 28 of the Criminal Law Act of 1826 by Resident Judge, Her Honour Judge Lucking KC.
These awards were given to two exceptional individuals in recognition of their outstanding courage and service, which played a vital role in the apprehension and conviction of a criminal. Their bravery and dedication were rightfully celebrated in the elegant setting of Boughton House.
It was a privilege to host such an important moment and to recognise the extraordinary achievements of these deserving recipients.
